Welcome to 2021! I'm so happy you subscribed to my blog. I hope you will find my posts fun, inspiring and informational.

January is always a good month to slow down, look back, and reflect. I'm so grateful that I was able to start all over again in Fairbanks, Alaska. Well, not only to start over but to manage it during a pandemic. This past year was hard, challenging, lonely, and I still found people that are moved by my photography and are willing to open up and invite me to get to know them.

CAPTURING MORE THAN JUST PICTURES

Photography has always been more than just taking pictures. Like every human soul, I also get down once in a while. I tried to imagine not doing photography, but I couldn't. It is completely my purpose in life! Every time I get an inquiry, my heart flutters. Every time someone says that they enjoyed having pictures taken by me, I simply feel happy. I love serving people. I love when I connect with my clients and direct them so we can capture more than just an image. My goal is to capture anticipation, essence, movement, detail, touch, curiosity, or emotion. Something completely unique, a fraction of a moment in time.
